Toddler Program

The Children’s House Montessori School’s Toddler Program is designed for children 18 months to 3 years of age to nourish their curiosity and ability to learn about the world through observation, exploration, and discovery. It provides an opportunity for children to explore and play in a carefully prepared environment with challenging and stimulating materials designed for their developmental needs.

Children are gently guided in ways that nurture their growing coordination, emerging language, self-care, and independence. The toddler program is a place where each child is treated as an individual and a valuable community member in what is often their first school experience.

The toddler learning and exploratory environments inside the classroom and in the outdoor play area are tailored just for them. This enables toddlers to feel comfortable and secure as they embark on a journey of exploration and independence during a sensitive period of language and movement.
