Thank you for your interest in Children’s House Montessori School. We love our school, and we love introducing CHMS to prospective families and students. We welcome curious learners from 18 months to 3rd grade, and we build a strong partnership with families as we support the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of our students.

Step One- Inquiry. Fill out an online inquiry to Request Information and/or call our school office at (207) 236-2911. We love phone calls!
Step Two- Parent Tour. Come visit our historic schoolhouse in Camden. You will see Montessori learning in action and have plenty of time to ask questions.
Step Three- Application
A completed application holds your child's space on the waiting list. You may complete an application before or after the tour. The application provides an opportunity to share a bit more about your child and indicate the program schedule you would prefer. Please note there is a one-time, non-refundable application fee.
If you will be applying for Tuition Assistance, please complete the FACTS Grant & Aid process at the time of Application.
Step Four- Student Visit. For children entering our Primary or Elementary programs, we will reach out to schedule a “student visit.” Primary visits are 30 minutes together with a parent, and Elementary visits are one day. Parents will meet with the Head of School during or at the end of the visit.
Step Five- Enrollment. After assessing the number of openings in our classrooms, we invite families to enroll for the current or upcoming school year. We will reach out to you if we have an opening in a program that matches your needs. Priority is given to siblings and children of alumni.
