Welcome!
The Children’s House Montessori School’s mission is to cultivate curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in young learners, while nurturing a sense of care for each other, the environment, and the world.
Guided by Dr. Maria Montessori’s pioneering philosophy, we provide carefully designed, multi-age classrooms and nature-based opportunities where children - ages 18 months to 9 years old - master skills at their own pace and grow toward independence in a cooperative environment.
CHMS strives to be a place where each person – whether a student, teacher, staff, parent, caregiver, or grandparent – feels a sense of belonging and respect. We recognize and appreciate our differences in culture, race, color, ethnicity, religion, age, family structure, sex and sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, socioeconomics, learning style, world view, and more. Everyone is welcome!
